My Story

M Irene was born and raised in Utah, where she currently lives with her husband, their son and their fun-loving German Shepherd. As an avid reader and aspiring fantasy and horror author, she is particularly fond of all things adventure and anything epic involving magic.

In addition to writing, M Irene is the co-host of the podcast “How to Survive Until You’re Published,” a free writing resource. When she’s not working or writing, M Irene can be found biking in the mountains, playing dungeons and dragons with her husband and friends, watching horror movies, or traveling the world and collecting mugs.

1. I love to travel! And if you tell me you want to go somewhere you have 30 seconds to say if you’re serious or not.

2. As an avid reader, I have an endless TBR and am often reading multiple books at once.

3. If I could, I’d live at the beach (specifically in the Pacific Northwest).

4. I make candles and resin D&D dice for fun, and love to cosplay!

5. I love all things having to do with music, from playing it to going to live shows.
