So excited to be participating in Pathfinders Writing Collective this Winter.
For this, I plan on writing 150,000 words from November to January!
I’ll be posting periodic updates on my progress here, and on my social media accounts, but for now, here are the projects I hope to be included in that 150,000!
Project 1: Horror Anthology Submission
This project will be a supernatural horror short story I am submitting for an anthology. I have already started drafting this one and will be using November to finish up what I haven’t written on it and editing it, in order to submit it by mid December for the anthology submission deadline.
Project 2: TGoC
This project will be a contemporary thriller novel! I will be starting this project November 1st and am hoping for it to total out at 75,000 words. It is likely this project will also carry me through a good chunk of December as well. This will be draft one. I do tend to under-write on my first drafts as I’m still getting to know the characters and plot. However, this October I’ll be fleshing a lot of this out and outlining the novel so I have a solid start and can hit the ground running for drafting this!
Project 3: MV
For this project I will be returning to my supernatural thriller novel and doing major rewrites and edits. I plan on using the rest of PaWriCo24 to finish a third draft of this story and get a significant chunk of edits done for draft 4 to get it out to beta readers in Feb/March before polishing it for querying.
I’ll post at least once more on here about my plans for Pathfinders Writing Collective, but I’m excited to get started!
